Actress Omoni Oboli provides an update on Chioma Akpotha, who was attacked at her polling station.

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Omoni Oboli has given an update on her colleague cum bestfriend, Chioma Akpotha, who was attacked in her polling unit.

Omoni revealed that she had spent the night with Chioma and the actress was doing well although still shaken.

Singing Chioma’s praises, Omoni described her as a hero for standing up against the attackers and for being vocal about their ploy.

She praised her for fighting for everyone and for always being after the good of the people.

“Spent the night with my one true love. My sister friend @chiomaakpotha. My hero! One of the strongest women I know. She’s ok guys. I know y’all have been worried. Shaken but not defeated. You fought for all of us! You have been for the good of the people! Posterity will forever be kind to you and your child Nkem. We will NEVER forget!

Chioma Akpotha cries out in fear as thugs attack her polling unit

Kemi Filani reported that Chioma Akpotha was attacked by thugs at her polling unit.

The movie star had cried out in fear after being attacked at her polling unit in Lagos.

Though not disclosing her location, Chioma Akpotha revealed that she was mishandled by her fellow women.

The actress, who was on Instagram live captured the moment political thugs disrupted her polling unit and scattered ballot boxes.

Many of the voters, present at the polling unit were seen running helter skelter for safety, while others were seen challenging the thugs.

However, normalcy was restored at her polling unit as voters were able to cast their vote orderly with the present of armed forces.

Chioma Akpotha calls out woman who attacked her

In a follow up post, Chioma Akpotha had called out a woman who attacked her at her polling unit.

Chioma Akpotha revealed that she hasn’t been able to sleep since the incident and has been left saddened and anxious.

As such, she would need to regain her energy to address some two important issues which are a recap of the events at her polling unit and a response to Georgina Onuoha, who she called her former colleague.

In the meantime, Chioma let her fans and lovers know that she is safe though still shocked.
