Jasmine Okafor, the daughter of veteran, Mr Ibu has announced divorce from her husband of 9months.

The content creator made this known on her Instagram page moments ago.

Jasmine revealed that her husband had lie to her about his previous marriage and his kids.

According to her, she never knew that he was once married and that he has 3 grown up kids.

Though admitting that their marriage was blissful, she however stated that his lie broke their union.

She recounted how she probed him on his personal life before they tied the knot.

Jasmine disclosed that she found out about the lie from his mother and it really broke her.

“This was the best 9 months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle asking you about this severally before we started! Finding out today from your num, really broke me! A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! Bur hate how you never mentioned your divorce nor kids to me! Moving on I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance”.

Jasmine is engaged

It was ringing wedding bells in the home of Nigerian actor, John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu in February.

The comic actor was set to give his daughter out in marriage to her US based lover.

Jasmine Okafor in a video which had gone viral on social media said “Yes” to her lover whom she met on the video-sharing platform, TikTok.

Narrating her love story, Jasmine revealed how their paths crossed two months ago on the app.
She disclosed how he flew from the US to Nigeria to propose to her.
Jasmine used her story to emphasize on how a real man wouldn’t waste a lady’s time.

The couple were set the walk down the aisle that same month.

“We met here on TikTok 2 months ago! He was my TikTok gifter! We are set to get married in this month. He flew all the way from USA to Africa for the first time! Just to marry me. A real man won’t waste your time”.

Mr Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine Okafor had shared her beautiful love story and how she got married to her TikTok lover within months.

Kemi Filani reported in February that the actor’s daughter was engaged.

In an update, Jasmine who got married in a low-key wedding as shared her experience.

Jasmine Okafor in a video posted on her TikTok page recounted how her husband flew in from the USA to propose to her.

She narrated how they met on TikTok and he left his country, two months after, to propose to her in Gambia.

According to her, four days after physically meeting, he popped the question and she accepted his proposal.

Jasmine disclosed that they got married 24days after his proposal and now they are expecting twin girls.
