Davido, a Ghanaian singer, says a powerful prayer for a Twitter user who blamed him for his son’s death.

Award-winning singer, Davido has said a word of prayer for a Ghanaian Twitter user who blamed him for the death of his son.

Kemi Filani news reported that the singer and his wife, Chioma were left shattered following the death of their 3-years-old son, in October.

While many sympathized with Davido and Chioma for their son’s death, others blamed the couple for his death.

A Ghanaian Twitter user had heaped blame on Davido for killing his son. He stated that Davido’s carelessness and care-free behavior, led to his son’s death.

“Davido has always been careless and care-free. Blame him for the sudden death of his son”, he tweeted.

Davido, who made his return to social media on Sunday, took out time to respond to him.

Rather than drag him, Davido took the high road, and offered a word of prayer for him.

Taking to the tweep Twitter dm, Davido wrote,

“Thank you. I hope wat happened to never happens to you. Amen”.

Davido and Chioma’s second public appearance

Kemi Filani news reported that Davido made headlines on Sunday, December 19th as he made his second public appearance since his son’s death in October.

The singer along with his wife, Chioma had stormed Qatar for the World Cup finale where Davido performed at the closing ceremony.

The singer also made his first Instagram post, with photos of him and Chioma. The post has since gathered over a million likes and 200,000 plus comments.

Unlike, his first public appearance, Davido looked much happier and brighter and was a bit of his usual bubbly self.

However, many weren’t happy with his performance at the World Cup and his return to social media.

A Twitter user, who wasn’t pleased with some of the videos, especially when it’s barely two months his son died, reminded him of his pains.

The tweep questioned if the now father of four has forgotten about his son so fast.

“Did Davido forget about his son so fast?”.

Responding, Jemima Osunde called him an idiot for his question.

“You’re an idiot”.
