Kylian Mbappe wants Man Utd striker Marcus Rashford to be signed by PSG

Kylian Mbappe wanted Paris Saint-Germain to sign Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford in the summer, according to reports.

PSG held talks with Rashford’s representatives and wanted to bring the 24-year-old England international to the Parc des Princes in August.

Rashford ended up staying at Old Trafford and looks revitalised under new boss Erik ten Hag following a difficult 18-month spell at the club.

He has helped United win the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League since he made his debut in 2015, having progressed through the club’s youth ranks.

Rashford addressed the rumours linking him with PSG last month, insisting that he was ‘100 per cent committed’ to United.

United are back in action on Sunday when they travel to face rivals Manchester City.
