BBNaija Chichi birthday

‘Lying about your age makes no sense,’ says Moet Abebe of Chichi, who claims to be 23.

Media personality Moet Abebe is of the opinion that lying about one’s age is a silly thing to do.

Via her Instagram story, Abebe said that while one could lie about everything, lying about one’s age should be considered unacceptable.

According to her, it makes zero sense considering the fact that one didn’t grow up alone.

“Lol lying about your age I feel is so silly… like lie about anything but your age.

“Like didn’t pple grow up with you? Makes 0 sense but ayyy wetin I sabi????” Abebe wrote.

This could be considered as subtle shades towards Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star, Chichi, who turns 23 today.

There have been a lot of mixed reactions about her age as netizens believe she is older than the age she is putting out.

Her fellow reality TV star, Allysyn, also took to Twitter to throw shade at her, writing: “23 my ass.”

Recall that Chichi who is undoubtedly one of the most talked about housemates during the last season of the show, was known to have given some of her male housemates lap dances while in the house.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, she however expressed dismay that strippers are usually judged by people and seen as lesser humans.

She said, “I think I am the most judged stripper. When I was a stripper, (I don’t strip anymore), people often came to me for help and at the same time, they would judge me. They did not see us as human beings. Stripping is actually a profession but in my father’s land (Nigeria), it is not seen as one. It was really hard because people were so judgmental.

“Because of that, I cannot talk in public. And, that is why I am uptight; I don’t like expressing myself. Whenever I talk, people are quick to throw ‘shades’ at me, saying what do I know since I’m just a stripper. They feel we (strippers) can do anything for money.”
