Manchester United started what looks set to be a frantic two weeks by confirming the arrival of Real Madrid star Casemiro on Friday evening.

The Brazil international was the fourth arrival at Old Trafford this summer – following Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen – but nine players have left the squad over the summer transfer window and more reinforcements are required.

One player of interest is Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic although the Blues have made an approach for United captain Harry Maguire when they became aware of interest in the American international winger.

Meanwhile Cristiano Ronaldo may finally have a suitor as the forward looks to achieve an exit, but it would mean United would have to dip into the market themselves yet again to find a replacement. Off the pitch the Glazers have shown a willingness to sell a minority stake, which has got both buyers and the fanbase incredibly interested.
