Monalisa Stephen’s criticism of Teni’s weight loss journey is addressed.

The battle line has been drawn between Nollywood actress, Monalisa Stephen and singer, Teni over their body sizes.

Kemi Filani reported earlier that Teni revealed why she embarked on a weight loss journey. In a melodious rendition and picture collage, the singer said that she realised her excessive weight gain could lead to death hence she started working on shredding off her weight. She also encouraged others to look up to her for inspiration.

Reacting to Teni’s weight loss journey, Monalisa Stephen slammed the singer for sharing her testimony and telling people what to do.

The double-sized actress who is a body positivity advocate noted that she doesn’t think of herself as being unhealthy because she is fat.

Teni who is not having any drama Monalisa dished out took to her Twitter page to respond to her.

According to the ‘Uyo Meyo’ crooner, she won’t trade words with Monalisa because she is definitely not who her colleague, Lekan Osifeso Jnr. better known as Lojay sang about.

Teni tweeted: I ain’t going back and forth with no d*mb Monalisa, that ain’t who Lojay sang about.

Teni says it costs money to shred off weight

The ‘Billionaire’ crooner debuted a transformation body with breathtaking photos that got Netizens talking.

She wrote: “Cost money to look like me”.

Recall that Teni had opened up on her body transformation while reacting to reports of undergoing body surgery to lose weight.

Just like actress, Eniola Badmus, Teni’s sudden weight loss had become a subject of discussion for many. While many praised her new look, others questioned her need for going under the knife.

Reacting via her Twitter page, Teni shutdown the reports.

She attributed her new look to weight loss and not surgery, like many assume. She revealed that she had lost 75 pounds without surgery.

Teni isn’t the only public figure or celebrity who has undergone body transformation.
