“This is disrespectful,” say netizens of Wizkid’s promotion of his upcoming tour just hours before the election.
Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid, has been dragged to filth for promoting his upcoming tour on social media few hours to the general elections in Nigeria.
The singer had taken to his Instagram page with over 16 million followers to share a poster of his ‘More Love, Less Ego’ tour set to kick off on March 3rd.
Many people were offended by the post and they called him out for promoting his show at such a crucial time, and also keeping mute about the election.
They also berated him for doing the same thing he criticized his junior colleague, Reekado Banks, for in 2020.
Recall that Wizkid dragged Reekado Banks for promoting their joint project during the #ENDSARS Protest, and called him a ‘fool’ and a ‘clout animal’.
Well, netizens have trooped to his comment section to lambaste him for being two-faced and for his lackadaisical attitude towards the presidential election.

In other news, a Nigerian man has angrily unfollowed Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy for keeping mute about the election.
In a video making rounds online, the man berated the three biggest Afrobeats singers in Nigeria for failing to speak up and sensitize their followers about the general elections holding today, February 25.
According to him, their apathy towards the election shows that they don’t care about Nigeria and the wellbeing of its citizens.
